AllMoto Reviews exists to help you make smarter decisions about electric vehicles, EV charging gear and the accessories that make ownership better. Every rated review on this site follows the same transparent process, so a 9.0 means the same thing whether it’s a crossover or a floor mat.
How a review comes together
- Real-world first. We weigh real-world range, charging speed, fit and ownership experience over brochure claims, using published test data where we haven’t tested something ourselves.
- Category-specific criteria. Each type of product is judged on what actually matters for it (see below).
- Sub-scores, then one number. Every criterion gets a 0–10 sub-score. The overall score is their average unless the review explains why one factor deserves more weight.
- A plain-English verdict. Every rated review ends with a short verdict, clear pros and cons, and who the product is best for.
- Kept current. When software updates, price changes or long-term issues change the picture, we update the review and its score.

| 5.0–5.9 | Fair | Noticeable compromises. Shop around. |

Two kinds of reviews
Every scorecard is labeled with how the review was made:
- Research review. Scored from manufacturer specifications, EPA data, published professional test results, product listings and pricing. We haven’t used the product ourselves, and the review says so.
- Hands-on review. Scored after we’ve used the vehicle or product ourselves.
Ownership, links & independence
AllMoto Reviews and EV Wholesaler, an online store for EV accessories, are owned by the same company. When a review or guide links to EV Wholesaler, we make money if you buy, and every one of those posts carries a disclosure at the top.
Products from EV Wholesaler are scored with the same criteria and scale as everything else, and we list their weak spots just as plainly. Brands can’t pay for a review, a higher score or a place on our Top Rated list. Some posts also link to other retailers or manufacturers.
