In a Tesla, the center touchscreen is the dashboard. You tap it hundreds of times a week, often with keys or rings nearby, and its glossy surface shows every fingerprint in sunlight. A tempered glass protector is cheap insurance against scratches and gives you the option of a matte, glare-cutting finish.
TESY’s protector is sold in versions for the center display and the rear passenger screen on the Model Y Juniper (2025+) and Model 3 Highland (2024+).

Clear or matte?
HD clear keeps the screen looking exactly like stock, with the sharpest image. Choose it if your car is usually parked in a garage and glare isn’t a problem.
Matte diffuses sunlight and hides fingerprints, which helps a lot with the Model 3 and Model Y’s big glass roofs letting light in. The trade-off is a slightly softer image and a little texture under your finger. Most owners who drive in bright sun prefer matte.
What we like
- Very low price for protecting the car’s most-used control surface
- Rear-screen version available, useful if kids use the rear display
- Install kit included, so you don’t need to buy wipes or alignment tools
What to watch for
- Check your screen size. Tesla moved every new US Model 3 to a 16-inch center screen in October 2026. Make sure the size you order matches your car.
- Install carefully. Dust is the enemy. Install in a closed garage and take your time with alignment.
- Glass adds a raised edge. Any tempered protector adds a little thickness at the screen border, which some owners notice at first.

Verdict
This is about as easy a recommendation as accessories get. For under $25 you protect the most-touched part of the car, and the matte option fixes the fingerprint and glare problem many owners complain about. Just double-check which screen size your car has before you order.
