The Cybertruck sits high, and getting into it can be a climb, especially for kids, shorter passengers or anyone reaching the roof or bed. Side steps fix that, and they also take the hits from road debris below the doors.

These two-piece nerf bars bolt on without drilling and are rated to 550 lb.

Cybertruck No-Drill Nerf Bars — 550 lb Rated

What we like

  • No drilling into the stainless body
  • High 550 lb rating for a two-person step
  • Rust-proof coating for road salt
  • Anti-slip surface for wet or icy days

What to watch for

  • Thin listing. Materials, weight and bracket details are sparse. Ask the store for install instructions before buying.
  • Price. It’s the most expensive set EV Wholesaler sells. The YZONA running boards cost about $100 less, and a steel set from another maker is lower still.
  • Ground clearance. Any side step reduces clearance at the sills off-road.

Verdict

Side steps make a real difference on a vehicle this tall, and a no-drill, 550 lb-rated set is the right idea. The thin listing and high price hold the score back; compare the cheaper running boards before you decide.
